BUILD THE PRAYER TEAM
Each participating church should select a Prayer Chairman that is responsible for recruiting and scheduling the 24 hour prayer calendar. Pastors can be the Prayer Chairman if they desire to do so or have no other available volunteer. A 24 hour prayer schedule will be needed for people to select the hour they will pray, an individual can take more than 1 hour if they so desire or if the church does not have 24 available volunteers. Prayer Chairman will be responsible to contact the prayer intercessors following their day in order to report a successful prayer session.
Pastors of the 31 churches will meet monthly on a Zoom prayer call to further unify the senior leadership within our community at which time prayer will be offered for social transformation and church restoration. Pastors will receive an email with a Zoom link 3-5 days before the Zoom call.
The 24/7 Prayer model is derived from David's Tabernacle where 24/7 ministry was conducted before the Ark of the Presence. Houses of prayer have been established in various locations where people go to a geographical location to pray around the clock. Our vision of David's Tabernacle will not duplicate the house of prayer model but will be just as effective using the 1 church 1 day plan. As in David's Tabernacle the Glory of the Lord was manifested and blessing came upon the whole nation of Israel, we are expecting the same response from the Lord for our state and nation. The unified effort of the church is the most effective tool in the spiritual arsenal to defeat our spiritual enemies, enlist the help of angels, and invoke the power and presence of God into our communities. Jesus prayed in John 17:20-21, "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also that which shall believe on Me through their word; that they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that Thou has sent Me."
From this verse we see that the whole world receives a great witness of God's presence through the unity achieved by the church. IT'S TIME for the powerful effective unity to shake the nations. We can do this!
